Preschool Fall Portraits!

Yeah I've fallen behind on updating the blog, so a few sessions from the fall coming up in the next few weeks before all the spring sessions (babies and weddings!) start rolling in!

Love, love, love these sessions - the kids don't wear out with these quicker shoots which makes for better smiles. And for being so little, the majority does SO WELL!
I just have to share a few of my favorites:

Macro shots!

In my limited spare time I've started playing with macro shots and particularly water themed macro shots, thought I'd share a few I absolutely love how they came out. I sold a few of these to a company for use in a national campaign.

New field to explore, love it!

New year - new gear!

To start off a great year of photography I upgraded my 5D MarkII to a 5D MarkIII and loving it so far! Took some test shots during my vacation with the family to Mexico and check these images out!

Punta Sur on Cozumel, Mexico. Loved this ecological park!

San Miguel, Cozumel, Mexico by night! And sunrise on the boat!

I can't wait to see the vibrant colors of a NYC wedding this spring, new fabulous portraits in the studio or macro shots galore!!

Senior Portraits!

I had my last senior portraits with fall colors for this year a few weeks back. Managed to catch the tail-end of the colors around here and got some rocking outdoor shots of this senior girl and supplemented with some studio shots for variety. I had a VERY hard time figuring out which portraits to post on the blog since they're suppose to be "teaser shots" for my website. ;)

My favorite from the outdoor session, she totally rocked some of these shots!

And my favorites from the studio included the use of a "crimson" background and some themed candy sticks.

October Bridals

I had this lovely couple schedule a bridal session with me to get some formal portraits after their wedding.
We met up at one of my favorite locations - Mud River Covered Bridge in Milton, they really wanted some fall color, but with the weather we've had the colors weren't co-operating to well, but the bridge makes for a great backdrop regardless of weather or season.
Here's a few of my favorites from the day:
