New York Wedding!

Had the extreme pleasure of photographing a old childhood friend tying the knot in NYC this spring.
Definitely out of the ordinary for me, nothing about this day was a typical wedding which made it all the more fantastic! And I'm so thrilled I was part of their big day!
Did some pre-shots at the church while we were waiting on the ceremony to commence, and then the grand finale was portraits in Central Park! Just look at a few samples and then hop on over to the website to see more!

Spring in New York!

This is the third year in a row I get to fly to NYC and spend a spring weekend there.
Every time I go I find something new to see and do, the city has so much to offer. Granted the bad weather and prior engagements left me without climbing the Statue of Liberty this time as well, oh well - there's always next year. ;)

I packed both my DSLRs and used mostly my new 5D MIII to play with HDR mode - love how these came out, these are probably some of my favorites from the whole weekend:

Main Concourse at Grand Central Station.
One of the side concourses at Grand Central - loved the lines and geometry of the hall.
Trinity Church at dusk - with the rain and fog.

Me and hubby at Times Square - normal photo. ;)
Rockerfeller Center.
View from "The High Line" in Chelsea.

One of the many wall graffiti (murals) we came across in Nolita.
The monument in Washington Square Park.
Flat Iron Building.

More views from The High Line - mural and the path.  Very nice walk if you've never been.

Times Square by night.
Another wall graffiti in Nolita just north of Chinatown.
