When it rains...(Prom Portraits).

Back in the early spring I was hired to photograph this young couple before their prom at the Capitol building in Charleston. As luck would have it, it started pouring rain right before their limo arrived. With the Capitol under construction we made the best of the situation and took some portraits under one of the covered side entrances and then made a dash through the rain to get some portraits under the big portico in the back. All in all, I am pleased with the portraits and so were the couple.

Happy 1st Birthday!!!

This little lady stopped by for her first birthday session a couple of months ago.
We took some regular portraits before she dove right into her cake smash pictures.

I love how these turned out!

Graduation Head Shot

This young woman missed ordering her Graduation portrait from school last year, so we ensured she had some to commemorate the occasion. We specifically set the session up to mimic her sister's portrait that her mom had ordered years prior, hence the blue background and no cap.

Winter Formal at the Capitol

I had the pleasure of photographing this young couple for prom back in the spring and then they returned for winter formal portraits again in December. We utilized the Capitol grounds and Cultural Center since the temperature was less than optimal for outdoor portraits. I love how these turned out, especially with the red details in their clothing.

It's time for Senior Portraits!

I had to pleasure of photographing this young man's senior portraits back in the early winter. He elected to do some studio shots before going to Milton's covered bridge where the bridge would give us a pop of color without leaves on the trees.

Here's a few of my favorites!
