Happy 8th!!!!

My darling daughter turned 8 while we were in Sweden, so somewhat delayed 8 year portraits got done recently, she did so good and mommy got a TON of photos of her this time.
Luckily she's a camera ham and don't mind the hair fixing, the clothing changes and so on. ;)

Swedish Wedding

A childhood friend of mine got married while I was visiting back home. I snapped a few pictures for her and her new husband along with other family and friends. Lovely wedding ceremony and a nice reception with lots of laughter.

Stockholm by Night

During my stay in Sweden I had the opportunity to run into town late one evening (has to be late since the sun doesn't set til closer to 10-11pm at night) and shoot some sights around Stockholm. I stayed around Old Town where I got vantage points of:

Swedish-Finnish Archipelago

While visiting in my native Stockholm (Sweden), my family and I also traveled to Turku, Finland where I have relatives. The easiest way is to take one of the many ships that leave towards Finland twice a day - you get some wonderful archipelago and sea views from there.

Also one of the last days in Stockholm, I took my family out in Stockholm's archipelago, to one of the islands I had visited with school as a little girl; Feather Islands (or Fjäderholmarna as Swedes call it). A nice 25 minute boat trip from Stockholm, perfect for a daily excursion.
